In Islam, God (Allah) is known by His 'most beautiful names' (al-asma al-husna) — traditionally numbered at ninety-nine — which describe His attributes, such as mercy, power, knowledge, and wisdom.

Belief in angels is one of the six articles of faith. Muslims believe angels are beings created by God from light who never disobey Him and carry out His commands — including delivering revelation and recording human deeds.

David (Dawud) is honored in Islam as both a prophet and a righteous king. God gave him the Psalms (Zabur), a beautiful voice of praise, and special gifts, and through him David defeated Goliath and judged his people with justice.

In Islam, Jesus (Isa, son of Mary) is one of the greatest prophets and the Messiah, born of the Virgin Mary and a worker of miracles by God's permission — yet a human messenger, not divine. Muslims also believe he was not crucified but raised to God.

Mary (Maryam), the mother of Jesus, is deeply revered in Islam as a model of faith and chastity. She is the only woman mentioned by name in the Quran, which devotes an entire chapter (Surah 19) to her.
